We’ve all had dreams and goals that we have felt were impossible to accomplish. However, all it takes is a little magic and here are the steps we have found to be sure fire ways to create amazing things in your life:

(1) Get clear on what you want. Spend time envisioning and putting down on paper the “want”. Paint the picture in your mind and with your pen.
(2) Deal with the beliefs getting in the way of you having it (Write down the negative messages you are hearing and underneath each one write a response about what is NOT true about them. Untangling the limiting belief is necessary to free up your energy to create instead of sabotaging.
(3) Ask and you shall receive. Say what it is you want out loud to as many people as possible. Go even further and let them know how they can help you.
(4) Work your tushie off. Be in action. Get yourself out there. Strategize. Plan. Research. Talk to people. Move.
(5) Be gracious and generous. When you receive, be gracious about it. It is about being humble and appreciative. And be sure to pay it forward. Give back whenever you can. Create some magic for others!

When you are “on purpose” (really walking strongly down the path) only things that are going to nurture, support and fuel the purpose will thrive on that path. Anything that would take away from or slow down the purpose will eventually go away. They wouldn’t be able to co-exist: the “distractions” and the momentum of the path you are on. When you come from this perspective, you will value your self, your time, your talent. You will stop wasting your energy on things that do not deserve it and start focusing on the things that do, like your dreams!

Sally and Natalie embark on their very first RV adventure. Catch the very first video above chronicling the start of their U.S. escapades. They go from being scared out of their minds, to driving Ol’ Bessie Lou (their 34′ 1984 Southwind by Fleetword RV) up the west side of the US with ease. Considering the fact that neither of them had even driven an RV before, they rocked it! They laugh. They dance. They see old friends and beautiful skies. They feel proud. And they stroll on down the road, wind in their hair, as free as birds. Watch the video that started it all. And read the accompanying blog post by the lovely Sally Hope. http://bit.ly/n5zaEt

Especially if we are not seeing results right away. We ARE an instant-gratification kinda people after all. There is something to be said for momentum though. You know the saying “I fell of the wagon” and we ALL know that once you fall off it’s harder to get back on. So here’s the deal … Don’t Stop! Keep moving! Take a moment to remember why you are doing any of this in the first place and what you want the end result to be (the prize) and get back on track. Keep your eye on the prize and keep moving, keep moving, keep moving.

After two months of being on the road, as awesome and beautiful as the trip was, it does feel good to be back home. Yet it is not a competitive feeling between traveling and home, like “I can’t wait to get back because this sucks.” It is more of an appreciation that occurs when you are really present to your experiences. When you face a lot of challenges, as we did this past trip, it almost makes you softer in your strength. You grow confident in your convictions and at the same time grateful for all the blessings in your life. The support from our friends, our family and our loved ones has touched us deeply. So to be able to come back, and spend time with those important people in our lives, is a blessing.

What is the thing you want most right now? Cool … we want that for you too. So here’s the deal: Every morning when you wake up, picture it. Really picture it and when the picture is clear, let yourself feel it. For 30 days. Just takes a couple of minutes and for bonus points, write down your vision in a journal. The clearer you get, the easier it will be for you to walk in the direction of your desire. Plus, the more you feel it as if it is true, the greater the impact on your actions. Go ahead, do yourself the favor and envision what it will be like actually living your dream as if it is ALREADY happening. Awesome, right?

Nothing will help you achieve your goals faster or feel happiness more fully than building a community. Being with people of like mind and who share the same passions keeps you focused and inspired. You can find family in friends, strangers, colleagues as long as you are open to seeing and nurturing that sense of community. If you are up to some big stuff or need support around what you are already up to, look around. Is there anyone in your life who can be a part of your family? If so, awesome! If not, start making it clear that community is what you are up to building and it will find its way to you.

We constantly look to the future as if that is where our happiness, fulfillment, peace, success, etc lives. “When I am rich, I’ll be happy”. “When I finally move out of my apartment, I’ll be happy”. “When I meet Mr. Right, I’ll be happy”. Yet, there are a experiences, people and time that fill up the space between here and the future. Stop for a second and look around you at what you DO have … now! Every single moment is an opportunity to feel happy, feel wealthy, feel free. It’s not about the what and the when. It’s about your way of being/feeling and the now. So decide to be here … now. Don’t wait to feel those things one arbitrary day in the future … feel them now. Go ahead. I dare you.

Going, going, going, going, going, going, going, going (isn’t it exhausting just reading that)? Imagine DOING that?! We are human beings and not robots. From time to time we need to just chill, have down time and regroup. The energizer bunny mentality is not sustainable in the long run. In the grand scheme of your life, a day once a week, or twice a week (heaven forbid) is not a lot to provide in order to keep you happy and healthy. So go ahead, do NOTHING! Or go do something that feels indulgent. Beach day maybe? Spa day? Movie day? Whatever it is, give it to yourself. Consider it a mental health day.

You just never know why things happen the way they do. Our latest episode is taking a HELL of a long time to get up for you all to see. Almost to the point of pain in the royal ass. Before even that, Kat was having a HELL of a time editing all of the content down to have it all fit in to the episode. However, had these things not been present we would not have stayed the extra time in Raleigh, NC. We would definitely NOT have met Odis Stephenson, an amazing man with an incredible story, who was the security guard at the RV campground we stayed in the last two nights. We would not have met Kevin, a new friend who we plan to connect with next time we go to Denver, who we ran in to at the Laundromat today while waiting for the episode to upload. Things come up, we assume the worst, they stress us out yet if we just hang in there, we most likely will be pleasantly suprised by the reason for the “delay”. So listen to Wilson Phillips … those ladies know what’s up!
